LG Sud: Too many suds were detected.
LG's front load washer error code list says Sud means too many suds were detected. The washer adds a suds-reducing cycle of about two hours, and stops during spin if suds are still detected.

The checks, with LG's detail
- 1If you use liquid detergent, fill only to the Max line
LG says to use HE detergent, keep the liquid cup in place and not go over the Max line.
- 2If you use powder, remove the liquid cup
LG says powder left in the liquid cup can clog the inlet and cause an overflow.
- 3If you use pods, one pod per load, in the drum
LG says to place a single pod directly in the drum, one per load, and never in the drawer.

Where to stop
LG's list gives no service step for Sud and treats it as a detergent-dosing problem. Editorial boundary: if the cycle never finishes, or a different code follows, treat that as the code to look up, or contact LG support.
