The checks, with Whirlpool's detail
- 1Remove everything from the drum and restart Clean Washer
Whirlpool's page lists this single step: take any items out of the washer, then restart the Clean Washer cycle. A Clean Washer cycle has to run empty.
- Does F0 E1 still appear?
Where to stop
Whirlpool's page offers Schedule Service Online (service.whirlpool.com), its Contact Us page and the customer service line 1-866-698-2538 for US owners.
Not covered here, on purpose: The load-sensing system and the control board. Whirlpool's page lists one owner step and nothing beyond it. Read when to stop and call a technician.
Same code, different meaning on other brands
None of the other brands in the verified set (Bosch, LG, Samsung, ) uses F0 E1 or F0E1/rL on the official pages read for this site. If your display shows F0 E1 on a different brand, do not apply these checks; use the lookup or that brand's own support page.
