Samsung 4C2: The cold supply water is extremely hot, usually swapped hoses.
Samsung's washer code list calls 4C2 (also shown as 4E2, CE, 14C2 or nF1) a hot/cold error: the cold supply water is extremely hot, which happens when the supply hoses are connected to the wrong inlets.

Fault isolation, in Samsung's order
- Owner check from Samsung's page
- Observation Samsung asks you to make
- Request service: technician only beyond here
- Code should clear
The checks, with Samsung's detail
- 1Put each supply hose on the right inlet
Connect the cold supply to the cold inlet and the hot supply to the hot inlet. Samsung says this is typically blue to blue and red to red. This is the only step its page lists for the code.
- Does 4C2 still appear?
Where to stop
Samsung's list says this code does not mean service is needed, and gives no service step for it. Editorial boundary: with both hoses on the correct inlets, if 4C2 continues, contact Samsung support.
Not covered here, on purpose: The inlet thermistor and the valve assembly. Samsung's page stops at the hose connections. Read when to stop and call a technician.
