Samsung Cb: Not a fault: calibration mode is running.
Samsung's washer code list says Cb (also shown as C6) is calibration mode, which recalibrates weight detection and is usually done at the end of installation. The drum rotates back and forth for one to three minutes and then stops on its own.

Fault isolation, in Samsung's order
- Owner check from Samsung's page
- Observation Samsung asks you to make
- Request service: technician only beyond here
- Code should clear
The checks, with Samsung's detail
- 1Calibrate with the washer empty
Samsung says calibration must run with nothing in the drum.
- 2If anything was inside, remove it and run calibration again
Samsung points to its own calibration article and the user manual for the button sequence, which varies by model.
- Does Cb stay on afterwards?
Where to stop
Samsung's list gives no service step for Cb and treats it as a normal mode. Editorial boundary: if the drum does not stop on its own, contact Samsung support.
Not covered here, on purpose: Nothing. Cb is a mode on Samsung's list, not a fault. Read when to stop and call a technician.
Same code, different meaning on other brands
None of the other brands in the verified set (Bosch, LG, Whirlpool) uses Cb or C6 on the official pages read for this site. If your display shows Cb on a different brand, do not apply these checks; use the lookup or that brand's own support page.
