Where to stop
Whirlpool's page says to contact it or schedule service with a provider from its preferred list (service.whirlpool.com, whirlpool.com/contact-us).
Not covered here, on purpose: The door switch and the control board. Whirlpool's page lists opening the door and a reset, nothing else. Read when to stop and call a technician.
